Shaw Go Gateway: Record Your Favorite Shows on the Go
Shaw Go Gateway is a free Android app developed by Shaw Communications Inc. that allows you to record your favorite TV shows and manage existing recordings while you’re on the go. This app is available for all Shaw Gateway HDPVR customers. With this app, you can browse through channel listings available in your Shaw TV package, view show details, select channels to watch on your Shaw Gateway HDPVR, set and manage PVR recordings, and manage parental controls for your Shaw Gateways HDPVR.
The Shaw Go Gateway app also comes with some useful functions. It uses Device & app history to access the application logs anonymously to help identify issues or failures. Using Network Access permissions, the app accesses your Shaw Gateway HDPVR and media players devices to schedule, and tune available live or recorded shows over an internet connection. The app also accesses Network State to identify and monitor network connections, allowing it to effectively access your Shaw Gateway HDPVR. Lastly, it accesses WiFi State to identify and monitor Wi-Fi connections, allowing it to effectively access your Shaw Gateway HDPVR via WiFi.
